"dude, girl - you are the bomb DIG," says kat, slurring her words out the side of her mouth.
"yes, kat, i'll write something like that," i reply, acknowledging her response to my earlier question. what exactly DO you say to a girl who totally deserves this job and has at long last been given this amazing opportunity?
"okay, how 'bout 'e-rastafarian, girl, you's like the sexiest social worker i's ever met."
kat has had too much to drink tonight - it is her b-day after all - and not that her comment about erin's sex appeal isn't true, it's just probably not appropriate for the public's eyes.
"that's nice, kat. anything else?" i ask.
"you know what?" kat asks, gazing around the room in search of aspirin (she may be a little bit tipsy, but she's no fool - she knows a future hangover when she feels one coming on).
"what's that, birthday lady?"
"ain't no one got anything on our roommate."
she may be hammered, folks, but the girl's right on the money.

hey lady! that photo pose was as gorgeous as it is dangerous. jump up and down but not from the boat! you know how to swim? heheheh - ok.
well, i enjoyed reading part of your blog. solitude is a strong source of inner strength, especially for people who do a lot of social work.
